SFU068 – COLD WORLD – No Omega 12″

By this point Cold World needs no introduction (i hope).   And neither should this record.   Originally compiled on 1917 Records, No Omega was made up of their debut 7″ on Walk All Night, Ice Grillz 7″ on Lockin Out Records and the split with War Hungry  on SFU – this reissue pressing on SFU also features the two songs from the split with Strength For A Reason,  14 songs in all, remastered and given a new cover/layout.

SFU069 – WOLF WHISTLE – MA Glory 7″

Things move slowly up here in Massachusetts, like maple syrup in winter time.  This 7″ is no exception.    The idea for it was hatched while Blacklisted and Have Heart were on tour in 2008, and finally just now its seeing the light of day.   How’s that for progress?   Drawing influences from Infest to Mind Eraser, Wolf Whistle’s first proper 7″ is 11 new tracks clocking in at just over 8 minutes long.  That means all rock, no funny business.

INSIDE – TOKYO STRAIGHT EDGE 7″

A joint effort between Japanese label Alliance Trax and SFU, this is the debut ep from Tokyo’s INSIDE.    They take a harder approach to their EP then they did to the demo, mixing late 90s US influences with late 80s NYHC.    Think Judge, Unbroken and Foundation mixed into one with all the vocals in Japanese (with English translation in the lyric sheet).\

Cover art by world famous artist Jay Bil  (Gauze, Mental, Righteous Jams and the infamous Invasion “Dog” shirt(both of them)).

500 copies pressed.   100 on Black went to the band, 200 on Red for Alliance Trax and 200 Blue for SFU.   SFU has 170 of the Blue and 30 of the Red for sale.
